    Agreement to Terms

    By accessing and using My HeartStory, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

    Service Description

    My HeartStory is an AI-guided relationship journal that provides:

    • Relationship tracking and analysis
    • AI-powered pattern insights, including severity assessments of relationship dynamics
    • Goal setting and progress monitoring
    • Personalized recommendations for relationship improvement
    • An optional Support Circle feature to connect with people you already know via username search and message them for support - this is not a discovery or matching feature, and your profile is not made visible to strangers
    • An optional paid tier ("Premium Gold") with additional features - see Subscriptions & Billing below

    Subscriptions & Billing

    • Premium Gold is an optional paid subscription ($2/week or $7.90/month) that unlocks unlimited access to AI Insights, Healing chat, Relationship Check, and Growth Goals coaching
    • Prices are quoted in USD and charged in Kenyan Shillings (KES) at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of each charge, via Paystack
    • New accounts automatically receive 5 free AI credits, a lifetime allotment that does not renew, to try the app's AI features before deciding whether to subscribe - once credits run out, Premium Gold provides unlimited access
    • Card subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled
    • M-Pesa (mobile money) subscriptions require you to approve a prompt on your phone each billing cycle - they do not renew without that approval
    • Apple Pay subscriptions do not renew automatically - you'll be reminded to pay again each billing cycle to keep access
    • Cancelling stops future renewals, but you keep Premium Gold access through the end of your current paid period
    • Prices may change; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance

    User Responsibilities

    You agree to:

    • Be at least 18 years old
    • Provide accurate and truthful information
    • Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes only
    • Respect the privacy and rights of others
    • Not share your account credentials with others
    • Report any security vulnerabilities or inappropriate content

    You agree NOT to:

    • Use the service for illegal or harmful purposes
    • Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the platform
    • Upload malicious content or spam
    • Reverse engineer or copy our technology

    AI Services Disclaimer

    Important Notice:

    • My HeartStory provides AI-generated insights for informational purposes only
    • Our recommendations are not professional relationship counseling or therapy
    • AI predictions are based on patterns and may not be accurate for individual cases
    • Always use your own judgment and consider professional help when needed

    Account Suspension & Deletion

    • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
    • You can delete your account at any time from Profile Settings - deletion is processed within 3 days and is permanent (see our Privacy Policy for details)

    Limitation of Liability

    My HeartStory is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any decisions made based on our AI recommendations. Users are responsible for their own relationship choices and actions.
